The Collection and Distribution Department has been operating since 1995 under a license granted to ZASP by the Ministry of Culture for the collective management of related (performers’) rights, primarily of actors, solo singers, dancers, theatre directors, radio directors, sound directors, as well as scenographers. Protection covers all individuals, regardless of their membership in ZASP, whose artistic performances are used by public and private broadcasters, in cinemas, on the internet, on VCD and DVD media, and on other carriers.
