Puppet Theatres Section

Members of the Puppet Theatres Section include:

  • members of ZASP practicing artistic professions in puppet theaters,
  • members of ZASP performing auxiliary artistic functions in puppet theaters

Board Members

KATARZYNA KULIK
Chairperson

Chair of the Section Board since 2020, a graduate of Art History at the University of Warsaw and of the Acting Studio at the Jan Dorman Children’s Theatre in Będzin. Former actress of that theatre as well as of the Zagłębie Theatre in Sosnowiec, the Stanisław Wyspiański Silesian Theatre, the Korez Theatre in Katowice, the New Theatre in Poznań, and the Tadeusz Łomnicki Wola Theatre in Warsaw. Member of POLUNIMA, awarded the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.

Member of ZASP since 1990 (in the Circle of Distinguished Members since 2021); delegate to the General Assembly since 2020.

HENRYKA KORZYCKA
Vice-Chairperson

Vice-Chair of the Section Board since 2020, a graduate of the Acting Department of the PWST in Wrocław, long-time actress of the Baj Theatre in Warsaw, member of POLUNIMA, awarded the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.

Member of ZASP since 1971 (in the Circle of Distinguished Members since 2005); delegate to the General Assembly since 2010.

ZBIGNIEW NIECIKOWSKI
Vice-Chairperson

Vice-Chair of the Section since 2025, a graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw, Puppetry Department in Białystok. Actor, director, and longtime director of the “Pleciuga” Puppet Theatre in Szczecin. Member of POLUNIMA, recipient of numerous awards and distinctions, including the HENRYK Award, the Silver and Gold Medals for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis, and the Gold Cross of Merit.

Member of ZASP since 1983 (in the Circle of Distinguished Members since 2018); delegate to the General Assembly since 2020.

MARIA WILMA-HINZ
Secretary

Secretary of the Section Board since 2020, a graduate of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw, Puppetry Department in Białystok. Former actress of the Opera Marionette Stage of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, member of the editorial team of Sceny Polskie, awarded the “Friend of the Child” badge and the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.

Member of ZASP since 2003; delegate to the General Assembly since 2018.
